Passport/Visa Information
No passport or visa is required of U.S. citizens coming
from the U.S. All others must conform to U.S. passport
and visa requirements.
Airport Tax
None.
Customs
Although Guam is a duty-free port and outside the U.S.
Customs Zone, expect to have your baggage inspected
on arrival by local customs inspectors to help keep
plant and animal pests and diseases out of the Territory.
Also prohibited are narcotics and deadly weapons. Restricted
items include personal firearms and ammunition. Applications
for import permits or requests for information should
be addressed to: Quarantines, USDA-APHIS-PPG, Federal
Bldg., Hyattsville, MD 20782, USA.
Currency
The U.S. dollar. Currency exchange for Japanese yen,
Philippine peso, Korean won, Hong Kong dollar, Deutch
mark and Australian dollar can be made at the airport,
banks and other financial centers.

Agana is GMT +10. When it is noon Sunday, it is: 4:00
p.m., Saturday in Honolulu; 10:00 a.m., Sunday in Hong
Kong; 6:00 p.m. Saturday, San Francisco; and 11:00 a.m.
Sunday in Tokyo.
Medical Facilities
Full medical services are available through a number
of well-staffed private clinics and one hospital.
Clothing
Informal, light summer clothing. Guam is located in
the tropical zone with an average temperature of 85
degrees.
